When you modify or restore any car you will have teething problems, don't let it get you down, these things happen and it will be solved.

Sorry gents I should have elaborated a bit better ..I'm still happy as out of the all the build it's been a TPS swap ,ignition switch swap and a leak from the pump ..hopefully nothing else now ..the joys of motoring lol

I think one of those panels is the last bit I have left from my old fords.
Shame we can't just walk into a ford garage and buy any part we require new
I think Mercedes and porsche do have the majority of stuff in stock, just a shame other manufacturers don't follow suit.
Stick with it, it will be worth it.

What a mate. I couldn't think of anything better to get into than Ford's lol. I don't know how I came to love them so much. Started xr2i then to red fez turbo then a black one then to a rocket ship of a mk1 fez with a zetec turbo one that KP built if you know him and then to my mk4 rs turbo now

I would doit the same as the mk1 if you look at the pictures you'll see the turbo carb which was originally of a 2.0ltr Montego turbo I would simply add another one all would be is a custom manifold and the head scratch of ecu which I would hope would work ok

They come under EURO CVH on the page mate ..and yea they do make a difference ..less friction in the head and are stronger so can rev higher if needed ..I'm told they help cam wear with these and the correct oil pressure on the cvh head .
