negative battery cable connection

Default negative battery cable connection

hi could anybody please tell me where the end of the black battery cable fits on a sapphire cosworth 4x4. i dont mean the bit that connects to the battery. help would be greatly appreciated.

It should split in two.

Small ring to battery tray and the thick bit to one of the gearbox bell housing bolts.

Starter motor earth's through the body into the gearbox casing

Doesnt it split, and the thin cable bolt to a lug on the battery tray and a thicker cable go to a bolt on the inner wing, or bulkhead? Sorry, not much use...
If I get home early enough and I can see it in the dark, I'll have a look.

I remember, when I rebuilt my engine, the thicker cable overheated when I started it up for the first time, so had to make a new one...
