Went to see the car yesterday and the middle section of the sill has been welded in.
The lad said that cause of the sill been rotton and the man hours they have put into the repairs it gonna go over what I wanted to spend. He said he could finish this side build the car up then take it away and come back in a few months or next year.I dont see the point in that tbh so I will have to get some over time banged in at work now lol.
I would rather wait a bit longer and get the whole car done.I can see me getting the car back just in time for the winter lol.

We are gonna drill some holes in the inner and middle sill sections so that when its done I can blast the inner sills with waxoil to try and stop the bastard from rusting again.

fair play mate for using the car and not locking it away for 90% of the year.
considering it actually gets used and sees the rain shes in good shape there no spring chickens anymore these old saphs
it will all be worth it in the end

It just makes you think how many of these big money saffs have nackered inner sills like mine.

So yeh a bit more of a progress. The lad said ive properly spent my budget on doing this side only cause of tje sill been in a poor condition. I will have to get some pennys saved up so he can get the paid for doing the other side.
I think he is doing the front seat mounts too cause they look a bit poorly.

Thanks for the replys people.I dont know ive ive mentioned this above cause I cant see it lol but the lad at the bs said I could just get this side done then take the car back in a few months to get the other side done but I didnt see the point cause the car is already stripped down so there is no point in building the car back up to strip it again in a few months time.

Yeh I got a phone call off him saying I want you to come and look at the car before I go any further.
Some people would of give up with the car but I want it to be as strong as it can.
