purchased E500 FOY and this lucky car is now being subject to a dedicated restoration.

today was the first day and a basic service was started. changing all oils, plugs, leads, hoses, clips, bolts, all filters (fuel, oil & air), cleaned the airbox and pipes, rocker cover removed for paint and new gasket, loads of other stuff thats just waiting for parts to arrive.

boost hoses cleaned, pic shows two clean and the other how they were before.

 

nice collection will be good to see it brought back to former glory

 

I would love to get stuck in to that, i take it the engines coming out to sort the engine bay?

You'll be looking for new under bonnet sticker set, source them from Tremona http://www.tremonagarage.com/

Any other help i'm sure Paul will point you in the right direction as to where does the best service

wow thats some truly awesome work!

the good news is there's no rust on the body or in the engine bay. will keep you updated on what i find.
