Is it an xr2i u have? if so.... its already efi and that cam wont do for a turbo engine and you would keep your inlet and prob just change the injectors if needed

i did a turbo conversion on mine a while back.use a fiesta turbo block, pistons.you can use your head but will need a fiesta turbo camshaft.management wise use inlet manifold but will need a fiesta turbo air charge temp sensor, map sensor, ecu and a bit of loom change needed.injectors will be fine for a simple set up but will need beiges if going 195 route.

hope that helps a bit

hi
yeah its efi now was planning to keep my head wasnt sure about the cam the best option would be buy complete fiesta turbo engine but they seem really pricey and if there out the car not sure what im buying as they all seem to say was running fine. by finding a good bottom end and building my own engine i no it will be sound just really confused about the inlet side are are some escorts efi and some mfi?

escort turbos are all mfi (mechanical fuel injection) and run a metering head and disctributor unless they have been converted to efi (electronic fuel injection) from a fiesta turbo.people convert to efi because its more reliable
