cheers chaps we found a wheel centre cover for sale this week so they can be painted ,talked him in to orange side an front lights
just after a radiator now as the other leaks like a bird on rag week

thanks pal its some thing iv done for many years on nites an weekends ,there are people on here with far greater skills than me
done a bit more this evening didn't seal the hole front in this time an worked a treat still got nice an hot before painting and just sealed up after an baked off ,list is getting smaller to paint ,there a llot to these little things
bit more done on this ,just got couple bits to paint ,everything back on that we could yesterday and 2 coats of wax looking forward to taking it to lakestour well the sunday show

Just out of interest. What did you use for the inner wheel arches? Mine is radiant red too and I used normal black underseal, as soon as I put it on I wished I had colour coded it!

thanks mate I used a factory sprayable seam sealer to match the old stuff back in were I welded the inner arches in then just 2k paint over that

Cracking. Always liked the fiesta turbo since I worked on one as a 17 year old apprentice. Think thats why i bought a black 2i when I was 18 and put the green strips in the bumpers instead of the blue and the wheels. Never could find a vented bonnet so that was the only thing that let it down apart from lack of turbo engine. Had to make do with a 16 efi cvh.
he a good mate an helps me were he can so I don't mind doing it for him

make sure you use a airfeed mask
allways panel wipe at least twice
make sure paint is warmed up and panels
an just practice mate im always easy get hold of to ask
