Its been a long time coming mate, will be heading back to the bodyshop once its running which shouldnt be too long now as hoping to be picking up the management for it this weekend so will just be tidying up the loom and adjusting the maps to have her running.

Small update really,

picked up an efi loom couple weeks ago and spent a morning stripping it down to remove the engine loom from the main loom.

Have replaced some of the wiring just to neaten it up a tad and re-taped the loom up ready to install

The looms now in, and 90% connected up, couple more wires to solder in and we should be live and another boxed ticked

Guess its time to get this thread alive again,

Have had so much else going on with racing etc the series 2 has taken a back seat AGAIN, the car is now a lot closer to home as we've moved it from the barn so a lot easier to work on.

First things first was to bath the bitch!

The last few weekends iv been doing bits, the ecu loom is all hooked up along with the Innovate Motorsports lambda sensor/gauge. The wiring's a bit messy but i wanted to make sure the engine would run without any problems before i spent ages making it all look pretty.

Had the car running today (for a short period) as the waster hoses etc are not hooked up as yet. Although the ecu has been mapped for a 1900 tall block, it started and ran all be it at around 1300 rpm but the afr was reading 15! so im fairly happy with that at this time.

What's with all the 944's? I have one and am looking for a turbo lsd / gearbox and maybe a 3l engine or turbo engine ' car to break if you have any thoughts.

Love the car by the way

It's been a long time since I've been active here, the car is still about! But not finished even though there's not a great deal left to do!

Just really buts a pieces finishing off.... ANYWAY just thought I'd throw a couple pics up before Ford fair 😉. Hopefully gives me another boost
