yeaa mine was tiger sealed to fu@k when i first got my s2. Thats another reason why i got another kit, was all distorted n stuff n had screw holes here there and everywhere.

CheeRS, have been up the workshop tonight clearing everything ready to start the rebuild, getting a good pic of the colour in that light os proving difficult so when I go up during the day ill drag it right out in the daylight n see what I can do

Small update today

Had a nice surprise in the post eArlier...300mm setup



First things first, the strip down ready for a good clean-up
The carriers have to sent to the acid bath (saves time) n wil give them a quick lick of paint



The discs will be lathed on the car just to remove the surface crap and also sets everything true to the hub runout


Few other odds on order which should be coming next week

Thanks matey, there's a fresh build engine ready to go in which is mfi at the moment around 170 from the last dyno printouts (which I brought with The car)
Once the cars roadworthy and I scrape back some money ill be building my other RST engine to around 300 (is the plan)

Progress on the brakes -

This weekend was spent finishing off the brakes, awaiting on the stud and nut conversion to turn up which should be here Monday so will be cracking on with that this week.

Bolted everything up and refitted wheel just to double check





...then once everything was cleaned up and had a lick of paint



The discs are soon to be lathed once everything else is done and i can get here to work to use the procut


Have also had the rear brake valves turn up so they've been stripped cleaned up and the bracket and valves have been painted up





Hopefully i can get the valves and new M/C fitted up this week and make a start on re-brake lining the car


Last small update

Had a few bits turn up from 'car parts express' so went about fitting up the wipers with new bits and got those fitted up
