Somewhere one of my garages, I have a complete set of side skirt fitting clips, I'll have a good search for them over the weekend, have no idea how many of them i'll find, but consider them yours, just drop me a PM with an address to send them too and I'll get them in the mail (Once I've found them of course)..... LOL.

Hi James - I did have a search of my garage, but couldn't find them.
But - I still need to get into the attic, as I know I have some boxes of bits up in there. I moved houses about three years ago (Portsmouth to Hull), and remember putting all the bits i didn't see me needing in the attic........... The search isn't over yet.
Looks like your buddy who's doing the bodywork and painting is doing a great job. I know when I do any restoration, even if the car's not mine, I do it as if it was. Looks like your buddy does the same. Great Work.

Cheers Jim, I appreciate you looking mate. My body man is very thorough and always goes beyond what's called for.

This was the start ..........
You can still pick up a half decent Hillman Imp for sensible money, and they make a great usable classic, it got so much attention at the shows I took it too and I had people making me decent offers for it well before I put it up for sale. So selling them once the restoration is done and I've enjoyed them for a while was an easy sale. Barely made any profit, but I enjoy restoring them. The Audi S4 was a great car once I'd finished that, and was damned quick too with it's 4.2 V8 plus tuning.
This was the finished item....

Looking great James, hope that's the Quaife Diff that's been refitted, it made a huge difference to the way she drove and handled.
So much so that I had one fitted in the C63, which really needed it............ Who makes a 500bhp car and fit's an Open Diff ........ Only Mercedes !!!
