Car looking great mate, as Neil said that's my old engine and by my calculations, yours is the 10 or 11th car that engine has been in! Click on the link in my sig and you will see it in mine
Good wee car though, and agree its a very nippy engine plus very good on fuel.
Keep the pics and updates coming!

Cheers, always glad to hear my car looks goog!
They where on it when I got it! Although it's touch I do to most of my cars anyway so saved me some $$$.

hallo. Not much of an update as I've just been using it day in day out. Still going without any problems which is always good
Had a sunny few days so decided to do a bit of undersealing and fit my mudflaps at the same time. Typical Scotland though as soon as I had the car jacked up in the air it started pishing down and blowing a gale. Wasn't letting the wind or rain dampen my spirits though so cracked on and made a wee tent out of some plastic sheeting for a bit of shelter lol!
Up in the air
Back bumper off to inspect for rust, very clean!
My wee shelter
Was starting to go flaky around the spare wheel well and rear chassis legs so I wire brushed that clean and applied the underseal (horrible stuff). The rest of the car seems in good order underneath although I suspect the drivers seat mount will need attention sooner rather than later, bar that it's all good! Never got any pics but who wants to see the grubby underneath of my car anyway!
I decided to swap the Escort Cossie wheels over from my Orion as it's sitting in the garage and I don't want the tires to get flat spots + I fancied a change anyway for the time being.
With my pals 2.0 Corsa
Painted the rocker cover electric Orange with black/polished details when I did the cage but I don't think I ever included a photo. I also put an HT lead cover on it to smarten it up.
Cheers!

Car's been serving its daily driver duties perfectly , no problems at all other than some tealeaf stealing my fuel cap while I was on holiday
Treated the car to a wash and some 'detailing', I use this word loosely lol.
Some pictures with the new alloys an tires on
Auto Glyming
Chuffed with how the car keeps going without fail

Cheers Ed.
Thanks mate. They're honestly more or less the exact same up to a point. The escort is slightly quicker through the gears up to about 120 then the corsa will creep past (pvt road as usual )
It's a shame the zetec conversions aren't as common compared to the redtops in wee vauxhalls as they're a really worthwhile + cheap alternative.

hi mate loving the car. I've a mk3 Fiesta 1.1 running a 2.0 conversion as well so really loving this.
Where did you get your plug lead cover? Looks like a nice neat plain one and would suit mine down to the ground

I've had the plug lead cover for ages, came on an Escort GTi I had. It looks to me like a folded bit of aluminium , it was polished but I gave it a quick spray of satin black.
Type mk3 vr6 splitter into ebay and it should show up. I had to chop of the standard "splitter that's molded into the bumper before fitting this one mind !

Yes mate, I'm Rosco!
My mate (who I bought the engine from) had it for years and knew how good and strong it was, so he kept putting it in different cars till I persuaded him to sell!
I never once had a problem with it, and always pulled hard - even though I was upgrading power wise I was gutted to let that engine go!
Car looks ace by the way, glad its in good hands

(ive still got some paint left for it lol)
