Default mk2 fiesta 4x4 cosworth project *update* new arches fitted

starting this thread for nmmfast, (steve)

i'm sure he will learn how to post pic's and update but thought i'd start it as it's going to be a good project
steve bought MK'S blue fiesta and has always said how he'd like a cossie'd fiesta.

original advert

steve had it picked up and drove it a couple of times and it developed a massive oil leak had really bad piston slap and clutch cable kept coming off,

so action was taken and this is the start of the project. enjoy

we stripped it to a minimum

plans are a full cage, completely stripped out inside new seats, change of fuel systemand a gs motosport 400+bhp engine with t4

thats all the pic's i have at the moment but twins will have a few and steve will hopefully get some better one's on he's camera, i will take some better one's with a proper camera rather than my iphone

Yeman i've seen this car loads over the years when Sev was building it! He has had the car AGES then finally got it all done a few months ago... Have got a load of pics of it somewhere, got an email address I can send them on to?

Shame the engine wasn't so good Sev was gonna use the one out of his EsCos but bought that lump instead iirc...

Look forward to seeing how it turns out!

everything else was spot on with the car,

just the engine wasnt put together to well, major oil leak from the head gasket and inlet put together with silicone sealer

steve decided to strip it out completly inside and put he's own marque on the car

e mail is ronnie_nag@hotmail.co.uk

would be good to put some more pics up

The Seat Ibiza is a cool car, belongs to one of my mates, should be back out next year.

Loved that fiesta, Sev used to be out in it every weekend, would have had it myself if i could have afforded it.

The arches are Mk1 Golf arches if you didn't already know..

thanks for the pic's mate

not sure how it handled he only drove it a couple of times, i'm sure it'll handle ok

will keep the post updated as i go round their, stripped the head off to inspect the engine and piston number 4 has about 5mm of movement side to side

when joe's engine is built i can guarantee this is going to set some quick times!
