The doors are back together and I started on the electrical.
I also have a majority of the euro locks installed. (you actually have to cut the pin out of the rear hatch lock!)
Sound proofing from second skin is on the way, should make it here before the weekend.

Yea those are it but I really need to find a used set as I can't afford that kind of money for these. Thanks for the pic!!!
When I found them on ebay a couple of weeks ago they were 10 pounds each plus shipping.

Moving along again, soundproofing and electrical well on its way. Still a little more soundproofing to go in the quarters. I really hope the wiring harness for all the rear lights was a direct hookup because it will save me a lot of time!
I would like to make it to the metal frame of the dash then I am going to hold off so I can route the brake lines, fuel lines, main power cable, etc. through the interior.
Also my new shift cables showed up which are specific to the RS shift tower.

Wiring loom for front bumper lighting has been completed, I just need to run my city lights to a constant source and wire my fender indicators in.
Next up wire relay for starter button and wire in harness for radio surround clock
My parts arrived from ford (new bolts for front and rear subframes, trim, heat shields)
So I started putting my subframes back together (I still need some sprrings, strut tops front and rear, and the lower ball joints for the front arms)
Cleaned up the fuel tank, I haven't decided yet if I'm going to design my own fuel pickup (using external holly pickup pump) or if I'm going to use the standard pump for the pickup pump. Either way it will be feeding the swirl and then a bosh 044.
Should be cutting my fuel tank access door soon along with reassembling the bottom of the car.

Started working on the front subframe, I had to make some sleeves for the LCA's as the prothane kit didn't include them and I didn't keep my old ones.
Picked up a new gun for the sandblasting cabinet and now I have some stuff ready for powdercoat.
Table full of parts to put the car back together!
I thought this was kind of fun but can you believe that these screws cost more than $40!!! (oh the small joys of building a European car)
Should be welding up the new fuel tank access cover today or tomorrow and maybe some reassembly this weekend.

Little bit of progress:
Fuel access door finished:
I didn't have time to run to a junkyard and cut one out so I made my own cover, I felt like I was welding up Iron Man's first suit of armor!!!
Also my doorcards, gearbox, and ac unit showed up from the UK
I was going to put my rear subframe in this weekend but I noticed I am missing a heat-shield yet in the rear

Started getting the subframes in place this weekend:
(I feel like I should be putting this together in a hardware store with all the rusty bolts I've had to replace or refinish!)

Parts arrival:
1.5L Swirl Pot
Braille Battery (I will probably mount this right behind the passenger seat)
Bosh 044 fuel pump (I'm going to try and mount this on the side of the spare tire well under the car)
Placing an order for all my brake lines, fittings, tools, an fittings, braided hose, within the next week just need to get a few measurements yet.
I apologize for the slow progress, this car has gone on the back-burner as we have been busy prepping for the upcoming year of this series http://www.usf1000.com/
I will also post a link up to my page so anyone who is interested can follow my progress throughout the season as well as watch some in car videos.

Things are starting to move again, I have the remaining missing parts of my suspension in the mail. I also have a time table of where I would like to be. I am still aiming for Focus Rising but it looks more and more bleak that I will actually make it. I will be finishing up lots of odds and ends so hopefully I have at least one update a week for the next couple of months.
April:
-Rest of suspension install
-Tires on wheels and mounted
-Last of electrical finalized and mounted (there will still be some odds and ends I'm sure but I would like to get anything missing in the dash and engine bay finished)
May:
-Gauges
-Brake and fuel Lines installed
June:
-last of engine components installed including custom intake manifold
Like I said I would like this to be completed by June but I can easily see this being pushed into July but at least it will be running this summer.
Few pics:
RS collection grill that I had powdercoated (I think it looks much better this way)
I had to order door bezels from Germany to fit the door cards fro right hand drive, well they showed up more grey charcoal than black so I dyed them to match and I think they turned out pretty good!

Finally have my hood mesh installed, this was an absolute pain as my tolerances around the hood vent were so tight and stainless does not like to cut or bend in any way.
On the flip side I should have my suspension installed this weekend if my retaining nuts arrive, but I am still waiting on rear rotors from puma speed.
