Ford sierra 3dr with Barra engine X2
So my brother and i are building two ford sierra 3dr with rs500 style and with rocketbunny arches, we have a eninge from a ford falcon from Australia a straight inline 6cyl 4liter eninge with a bmw Gs653dz gearbox.
Eninge: the engine is a NA from the beginning and have been rebuilt by Gz racing and speedfix garage so it can make about 1000hk and rev 7500rpm
Gearbox: this is a bmw gs653dz that we have reweld with the bellhouse from the barra eninge
Suspension: Gaz gold sierra in the rear and gaz gold bmw e36 in the front and the front beam is a modified bmw e36 to fit the sierra, the front arms i from T-parts thats will ge the steering angle we need.

PassionFord Post Whore!!
Must be a first to have a big straight six Aussie engine in a 3 door body shell linked to a BMW gearbox!! I reckon it will be a great combination with a lot of performance. You guys have got excellent engineering skills and it's great to see something different.Well done!!

now assembly of parts has begun, we have a floor mounted obp pedalbox and also put the radiator in the back of the car. gearshifter and hydralic handbreak is home made in aluminium, now you can see the bmw e36 cross member that have been modifid to fit sierra oem frame and the tpart (Yellow) control arm for more steering angle.

Love the project keep up the good work , iam not sure on the body kit though I would stick with the original shape just make them wider to fit the wheels, there's a blue 3 dr cosworth from oppliger Motorsport that looks fantastic with wider arches have a look on YouTube , goes like fuck as well , keep the updates coming

Good job. I've been waiting for someone to do this. Twice the performance of a YB for a small fraction of the cost, and will be reliable too. Not for the purists of course, but it's still a Ford engine at least. I was an engineer at Ford when the Barra first came about, but worked on other drive-train components, not the engine itself. Right from the start I think it was waiting to go into a Sierra.
