Default MK2 escort C20XE build

this is my new project i got last week, a four door mk2 ghia, i am leaving the car as standard as possible with the addition of a redtop vauxhall motor, T9 5 speed, throttle bodies, exterior will be repainted then lowered 2" all round sitting on 8x13 minilights.

I've driven an XE on 48 Carbs a few times. It was not very well mannered at low revs and did cut out a lot.

lol at all the people on about Twin 48s etc after him saying he's going proper ITB's...

will keep my eye on this dude love it already!

i was on the look out for a 4dr last week then stopped myself as i knew id just wish i held out for a 2dr

probs true but id be tracking it so id always hold off fitting a cage or wanting to spend a shed load on Retro Ford parts for me to fit my 2l in on Jenveys!

if it was just a fun project like your doing yeh id probs get a 4dr!

You wont go wrong with that lump got one in my mk2 on 45s goes proper well pulls well strong every gear even from 80 to well over a ton keep up the good work
