New engine plans for the Van, I've gotten hold of an engine I built for a customer, long story short... its a fresh built 249bhp and 200lbps 2.3 fully forged engine, running Emerald ECU and its all there just ready to plug and play into the Pikey Van!
But... I need to upgrade my fuel system to go with before I can run it!

A few months ago I had a friend in need, his clutch broke kn his RS and was in urgent beed of one but leed time on them is about 6 weeks, so I let him have one of the new engine as well as the TTV fly wheel to go with it.
Well today I he gave me brand new TTV fly wheel and new 4 paddle clutch.
Also a billet quadrant for the peddle box he made himself for me.
Also managed to reaquire my 355mm 6 pots I'd previosly had on the van, so now will go back on.
Also a stainless steel manifold flange as I want to make my own manifold when I can, only ones available aftermarket are TLE which is designed wrong and one other which isn't to my liking either, so going to make my own when I'm able to again.

Few bits that can be done in the man cave over winter.
Strip and rebuikd the throttle bodies 50mm Jenveys and whilst stripping realised this was my prototype MRM SpeedShop DHT inlet for Jenveys! It donenwell to say Inforgot and it won two seasons of racing with it. Will also flow test the injectors too make sure theyre still up to scratch.
Also not happy with how they we preciously matched to the head so removing head and port matching the inlet system.
So some time to spend on man cave now.

Thanks lads.
Thanks bud. Id I can get it in the man cave I’l mess with it lol
No probs mate, your wellcome to come have a cuppa in the man cave.
That’s the plan mate, filling time atm.
Bit more done today, my billet camber shim for the trumpets was one piece but I had cut it into secrions for the 52’s and then realised the 52’s had different bolt pattern so using the shim on the 50’s of the van. Needed to shape them all by hand which I enjoyed tbh.
Then also had to salvage the trumpets as whoever removed the engine from the ravecar they were in dented the ends, so I removed the chamfered edges, also contemplating making a alloy inlet air box direcr to trumpets, not sure yet.

Sweeeeeeet! They’re going to sound awesome mate. I’ve got a zero miles ST170 engine sat doing nothing I’d love to stick some bodies on it like those. Keep up the creative madness

Started putting table together, stitch welded the frame thenthe table top.
Had a view in my head on how I wanted the tables legs and frame to look and been a oain to make happen as with box section mild steel its impossible to buy sizes which slot into one another soooo! After some shopping, 50mm x 2.5mm and 45mm x 2.5mm box and then lots of grinding and belt sanding inside of latger box. I’ve made the legs detachable from the table, why? Because my home has no side/rear access so need to eventualy (as plan on buying new home at some point) get the table through the house. As it’ll be so heavy it’ll be easier to be done in two pieces.
Anyway sorry for waffling, will update when I build the frame up.

Thanks bud cant beat recaro lol
Made a 2nd bank fuel rail using my new lathe & mill. Will be fitting one on the van as enerald K6 runs secondry injector rail along side coil on plugs.
Impressed with how it turbed out.
