going to smooth out the 3 lines along the sides and the buts on roof for mounting roofrack.
also going to smooth panels to where the back windows were, wither make a fiberglass back bumper of adapt one from a bmw.
and hopefully going to fiberglass where the back lights were and mount numberplate and lights in spoiler :P

i had been thinking of lowering it, like real so, so low there would be no room for a silencer, but then i cant load it up with shite. and it would get ruined with the rouads round here.
yes, i havnt heard of it either, thats kinda why i like it. its not exactly a spoiler, but its on the roof at the back, and will have the same efect lol. i just kneed a million tubs if filler to finish the mold.

couple of pics comeing in a lil while.

just tried it, turned it right up, no cracks yet. but it vibrates the filler like fuck.
gona gave to mix fiberglass srands in with filler, see if that will stop it cracking. might be ok with just the 1 cabinet wth 2 subs. but i doubt it will last with 2 more cabinets.
haha, i doubt if i will last with 2 more cabinets.

How have you blanked out that back window?

Please don't say you used filler and matting?!

Surely a pair of rear solid doors would have been quicker easier and almost free by the time you had sold yours?

I had a y reg escort 75 td for a little while. It was shit! As slow as a n/a but never did more than 30mpg!

Gavin.

You can buy nice one piece doors for these vans.

As in one complete rear door.

Seroiusly???

I must be losing the bloody plot.

Sorry if me asking this is a wind up thread has insulted you, just I have never seen some thing so thrown together.

Please take a look at other threads here for advice and knowledge on how to prepare a project, it doesnt need to take finance to do so either. Just time and a little effort.

I'll leave now, not trying to insult you just advise.

even if that huge patch of filler doesnt crack and drop out, its going to sink and look terrible very very quickly! surely must be a better option, either the 1 piece door suggestion, or maybe make up a complete flat skin for each door, so it wont have huge sections of filler that risk cracking or sinking?

also, i genuinely thought this was a wind up thread too the pic of u trying to put the side of the van in primer with a small spot repair gun with the tiny cup on it is hilarious! would take hours to do just 1 side!

hmm, options on the filler then ?
haha, well, i was only doing 1 section of it. and i still had paint left in gun. if i was doin anything bigger i would of used bigger gun

ino the filler is sinking, thats why i have been putting it in in this layres, and leaving it ages.

i have never seel 1 piece doors. where can i get em ?
only ones i have sees is like this with either windows or panels in.

its plastin loft insulation, stuck to the sides for sound proofing. going to line it with ply wood next, then carpet.

I see you went with the Decware - Wicked One horn enclosure !
Very good choice BUT watch what your doing with the amp gain level as you will not hear the subs struggle til its too late in a horn loaded style enclosure.
