im not getting any probs with lift off like you guys were though on mine. i set rear toe +0.10 each side and front -0.15 each side and its little too much understeer. wound shocks up on back compared to front and added more camber to front . i played around lifting off at 70 ish and it dont move.
but thats the fun in it i think trying new settings each time.

Thanks guys,
Arches were of a mk2 golf,
As for lift off could be down to a few things with are set up, no rear arb and we were running probs over 1deg toe out and that on on a wet track like Combe is scary. But think we got it pretty much prefect now, (for Combe) but every track is different.
Glad it stayed dry for you.

just checked date and i got plans on 6th. gutted as its on offer for Ł114.
really hoping to get on a trig day with you guys at next opportunity.
i need to sort brakes out and i just noticed you are running solid discs. to save money for now im thinking of yellowstuff pads on standard discs, do you think that would work ok?
i ran stock with 5.1 fluid and air ducting to cool brakes and compared to my last outing on stock brakes it was much better but still went spongy and not as sharp as i want.
cheers

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Looks good.
If you want wider rear just fit rs hubs and 20.5mm rear alxe spacers that will make you over 30mm per side wider than std and its factory safe. rear spacers are only Ł25 a set lol.

also i was at scrappy the other day and knowing you are running scooby brakes there was a bug eye breaking there. i was interested in them but they were reserved for someone at Ł100 for all 4 corners. bargain that would have been.

Yea that would be a good cheap upgrade for you there mate, keep a eye on the bay as they do come up cheap,
We do have hub spacers already mate, took them off though as we are running 55mm wider rear track as it is at the mo,

We used the carbon Lorraine pads in the Airtec focus st.
After me Doing 5 laps around brands hatch on them they over heated and fell apart

Bloody hell did not want to hear that, I had them on my Clio with good results, what grade where you using?
The splitter and boot floor are made out of alloy, and Ali backed perpex.

We have been getting close to being pulled off track with our noise on drive by,
So thought we had better make a muffler on the screamer pipe,
It's alittle expansion chamber for it, see how it works
