106 cosworth 4x4, pedal box and new wheels, H brake
New rebuild thread as the old one was way past its sell by date! lol
So on with the project, been a long time but good things come to those who wait - and i have certainly been waiting, its also a costly project.
It started life as a little 106 1.6 xs, it was then converted by DJM motorsport to run standard Cosworth engine and full 4x4 running gear (this is when i purchased it) then my plan was to take it to the next level from the assistance of Reyland/AG Motorsport
Brief spec to date, the list will grow.
Engine = Will be a reyland nikisil lined 2.2 stroker, hopefully around 700bhp unless Martin can squeeze more out of it?
Transmission = FFD 7spd sequential with FFD 7.5 front diff, Mag sump, 9" rear, got to thank Steven Mckay for these parts.
Corsa EPS rack.
Suspension = Escort WRC Proflex 3 way dampers (off the oppliger wrc escort)
Brakes = Reyland 378mm 6pot AP fronts and what ever Martin Thinks for the rear.
AG motorsport Rear end setup, utilising MK Motorsport's Billet WRC uprights and WRC top mounts, 2wd saff long driveshafts.
Front Mk motorsport Billet WRC uprights/drive flanges, Steering arms,TCA and compression struts, GRPA driveshafts, WRC top mounts.
Pro alloy 100mm cooler, rad, turbo cooler, and internal fuel tank
18" COMPS
Pics from when it was first bought to its current state, its booked into Escortgaz for full paint once the AG team are finished The Fab work, then back to Reyland.
This is the further fab work by AG, first stage new rear end, internal tank mounting, Intercooler and rad, next is for the bulkhead/Engine to be put back around 1" and tunnel mods for the FFD, hopefully get more pics in the next few weeks of the new bulkhead and tunnel mods.
