The last time the cossie was out was the grudge match with Dingy in October 2007 and it sat in a barn for over 12 months. She's back in my workshop now, and should be going through a similar freshen up as KIA. New engine, gearbox, diff, rear beam, suspension and a multipoint cage, so basically a new car.
Still got the 2.4 Saph tucked away?
Last time I saw you was a few years back standing outside the Bull in the Barn I think its called with a pint in your hand

Cars looking spot on Steve, nice to see it having a freshen up!! One of my all time fave mk2's ive often wondered if the car was in oz with you as i knew you wouldnt of sold it!!

Gearbox sorted finally along with the carbon parts and loads of spares.

yeah it should be good when its finished fingers crossed - LW Smart repairs done an amazing job.....
Now i need LSW and NMS to work more magic to put it together whilst am in Australia.

Gearbox details.
• RD906 gearbox with RS500 (Ford type 5) Front plate (bell housing not supplied) & Ford 1”23 spline clutch shaft.
• Standard length gear lever and linkage
• Standard digital display with wiring loom and fabricated cowl
• Ratios-
1st 11/33 (3,00):1
2nd 14/30 (2,143):1
3rd 17/28 (1,647):1
4th 19/25 (1,316):1
5th 21/23 (1,095):1
6th 26/25 (0,962):1
• Drop gears fitted 21/23 (1,095):1 (160mph Top speed)
• Spare drop gears 17/21 (1,235):1 (140mph Top speed)
22/22 (1,000):1 (175mph Top speed)
• External oil pipe connection kit
