My 3dr `RSty` resto small update 18/02/11
called up to see spesh with wing,bonnet,adjuster,lock but not hinges 
Doh!
only a small update as didnt get much chance,bit of a flying visit,there has been a hell of a lot more done than this its just all i had time to take a pice of
gotta say always feel welcome when i go there proper nice folk
spesh id making good progress with the repairs
wont even know its been done,in fact if it wasnt a different hue you`d not know
Spesh brought these out for me to see which instantly agreed should go on as the orriginal are buggered
whilst there a secret was let out of the bag regards Beefys soon to be disclosed colour change,as you can see its a far cry from the much publicised stournaway grey
sure looks funky eh folks?
then called by beefs to say hello and eat my parmo - cheers mucka
as i say its a small update as beefy said he was going to call by Karls tomorrow for a few more pics etc.

Sorry mate couldn't help it when I saw the fairground ride bumper end it had to be done

Never seen a car done out with flowery feature wallpaper though
Did you get bulb taken out of that light bud,remembered ten mine from home..

Just thought id add abit made a start on daz's N/S sill was just what i expected lol.
...
hopefully beefy will be in a better frame of mind 2moro and come take some pics for daz.....K

ok update as of today - 26-2-11
popped over to get some pics of the car ,
greeted by the old girl up on the superjacks
shells been emptied
front passenger wings been removed
and so has the sill
the rear is a little poor lol
and the inner floor to sill sections been removed
fresh metal will be going in tomorrow then inner strengthing and new sill

Sorry no pics today but inner sill repair is done the inner brace going back in 2moro. Also gonna order an mk4 escort rear inner arch as they dont do seirra's going to modify it to fit hopefully lol....K

todays update 28-2-11
inner sill structure repaired
as with everything its been treated to red oxide and the top and bottom lips have been coated with weld thru primer !!
repalcement strengthing sections fabricated
inner strengthing panel srtipped and oxided
inside
outside
in positon
will be re plugwelded to inner sill , then flushed off before new sills spotwelded
rear section of inner brace to be remade
more rot found on the inside of the pass rear
old metal removed
new peice templated
refitting
welded and ground
oxided ,
no point in sealing it at this point , as obv the underside need stripping lol ,
still nice and solid lol
more tomorrow folks

aparently its quite straitforward to do yourself mate ,
final bake its the tricky part ,

Theres a firm near me on Thorpe arch nr wetherby,owner lives opposite the mither-in-law I accosted him last week,there was also another firm there last time too.
Yup rufforth on satday but gotta take sport billy to a match first...
