GREAT work should be a good one when done ,
Is there a certain angle or way in which the 4 link boxes are fitted as i want to fit them
to mine ???

Had a tests fit of the engine. engine mounts wrong
Had to take off th 2wd exhaust manifold, too big (Graham C was right). Anybody want to swap for a 4x4??

and you can still use the same turbo just undo the bolts and spin it round !the pinto,s ran the exshust up the same side but the crossflows it ran up the passenger side when i did mine i used the rs200 sump i put baffles in it and modded the sump for the turbo return pipe or you can cut the edge off the crossmember and weld it up any Q just as me

Ha, well spotted!!
The exhaust tunnel is going to be lined with heat reflective tape and the exhaust will be about an inch away from the surface of the tunnel so probably further away from the floor than normal so shoulnt be any hotter than any other mk1 escort . i think it should be ok

Exhaust tunnel will be fine,on my mk1 i had a false alloy floor on top of the tunnel to rest my feet on,i didnt use any heat shield
