Well a bit of a step in the right direction has been made.
Somewhere to continue with the work on it has been an issue up to now due to needing to keep the shell rolling so I could still gain access to my garage to get my bike in and out. So up until now it has been on hold while awaiting either my mate to find space in his bodyshop for my car to sit long term or try to find a place somewhere local that isnt extortionate to rent.
Well Ive got the latter, a little place in the same yard as a friend of mine. I got the keys today and set to work cleaning up the mess that the previous occupants had left.
How it was when I first went in
So after a good sweep up and I bagged all the rubbish ready to take to the tip, I soaked the floor in neat TFR and gave it a good scrub to see if some of the ground in oil would shift. Rinsed it with the jet wash to leave a clean floor
Then I went round and painted all the white on the walls again, the grey is ok as it is.
How I left it tonight.....
Now Im itching to get a few more light fittings up to make it nice and bright then get the car over so I can get stuck into it and get more work done

Need it on the spit, remove rear beam, front suspension etc, strip full wiring, remove headcloth, glass out. Welding to floorpans, chassis leg, boot floor, fit new arches and whatever else I find along the way. Fully paint the inside and underside in the unit then move it to the bodyshop to paint the outside, powder coat the rear beam etc and front suspension etc then the rebuild can begin..... LOADS left to do yet

Nah Ad its over the water.
Unit is big enough to park 3 cars in as is, remove the office bit and you'd have enough room to work on all 3 cars. Each unit is allowed 2 cars to park in the yard too. Landlord lives on the side of the yard, its secured with big plate steel doors so you cant see whats parked in the yard at night either and theres a couple of cameras up. Mine's £60 a week and when the electric bill comes in the whole yard just pays equal to cover the bill, between everyone its usually about £35 a quarter each apparently. One of my mates is paying half the rent with me so he can do his car in there too, so for £30 a week it aint a bad place for a bloke to play

Could be a plan in future Beefaroo
Steve, I might have to do some alterations to my engine now to keep up with yours
Ran, they usually are pretty silly priced round here too, this is the cheapest Ive come across bar one but its in a safer better place than the other and is only £10 a week dearer. I did try for the other place before I found this but its got a waiting list because of its price.
