Hello all.
I blew the head gasket on my orion ghia i last monday but i thought i'd make the best of a bad situation and rebuild the engine whilst its in pieces. I was thinking something along the lines of -
getting the cylinder head skimmed and the ports matched
fast road camshaft kit with new springs and followers
4-2-1 manifold to match the rest of the exhaust
heat wrapping the manifold
performance induction kit.
Any suggestions from more experienced heads would be greatly appreciated .

 

u dont say if its the efi or not mate, but yeah thats a good start and it all depends on your budget because by the time u bought all those parts u wouldnt be far off the cost of puttin a zetec or rs turbo lump in and have more tuning potential for the future
