Folks thanks for all the positive comments the past week
This week has been bumper madness as the car has been treated to a new bonnet as i was not happy with the old 1
The car itself has been dolled up and got ready for the painter/body man
The car was sent with as follows
4 doors surplus to requirement
The RS body kit
Cossie grill
Headlight strip (mine was unacceptable for the quality of the car lol)
92 stamped bonnet
The latest i can up date you lot on is the pics ive recieved from the painter (Barred myself from going up to prevent seein any nightmares if any)

Not only to be different but im my opinion its a far neater kit than the cossie kit and the finishin touch is the rear bumper apron to add equal level to the skirts and front bumper

Cheers jim was actually considering the cossie kit but then had a long hard look at the sierra's that were out and about so i went with the RS kit

Hey folks im back again after a long absence due to work commitments and giving cossie 09 a hand with some yard improvements
Got the RS alloys and was well chuffed with them so my collection is finally complete for the rare RS optional extra kit
Here is a few pics of what the wagon looks like with them on
All being well folks work should commence again on the motor in the next few days

There has been a shed load of man hours and thanks to cossie 09 (big up to ya keith buddy couldn't hav done it without ur help and advise) I hav come as far as I hav
Just a little update on what has happened today
Took the rest of the paint of the gearbox as I was not happy with the finish on the last attempt and primed it ready for a second attempt
Started to the engine and got some of it cleaned up and all goes well get the rest cleaned up tomorrow and get it primed
So all being well with progress wheels starting to turn again it should not be long before there will be a big happy smile on my face
Stay tuned for more
Thanks for looking

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
The car looks stunning, much better than turning it into a cossie replica. Youve done a great job and im looking foward to seeing it finished.
Looked like a good shell to start with, i bought a 2000e last week and its rotten.

The paint job look gorgeous That's only the second GhiaX I ever seen. You sticking with the twinky turbo? There's too many BOA and BOB cars around, nothing seems to stay original anymore

From what ive gathered there was only 200 ghia X sierras made
Gonna stick the turbo on her at some stage but in the mean time mate im just gonna keep her her origional self
There is too many boa and bob sierras around i had a chance to go down that route but decided against it
Slight update on what i hav done as the past week or that now complete with pics
Monday primedthe engine
Tuesday primed the gear box after taking ti back down to bare aluminium
Wed Started to paint the block
Thursday Sprayed the head with heat resistant paint
Fri Took a day off other things to do
Today Tried things for size to see how it looked
Tomorrow hopefully get the sump cleaned and then thats the engine nearly ready
Thanks for taking time to look at my thread
