New to all this forum stuff, but just bought a left hand drive S1 back from france and started to strip her down for resto, thought it worth a shot at posting and maybe get some advice and help along the way!

Are they cheaper to purchase on the continent then?

 

Its a complicated story buddy, but in short i work for a chap who has a garage in france and he took it in part ex, been stored for 10 years! just thought it was something a little different, in france they dont really know what they are so value is really low, but its a case of finding them over there now.

 

If you need any LHD specific parts, let me know and I'll try to source them for you.

Sorry ain't had chance to upload pics lads, been hectic weekend, will get them uploaded asap - a damaged focus rs over the weekend maybe thinking of the next project ahead of time lol think a transit connect with the rs running gear sounds like a good smoker for work!

Right people, need a bit of advice, managed to get my hands on a focus rs for spares, might be a silly question but i how difficult we talking to convert the S1 to focus rs running gear?

I had a lhd s1 some years ago and sold it havent heard of it for a long while was told there was only ever 50 made lhd dont know how true that was. It was pretty mint sold it 9 years ago before the days of pistonheads and ebay got 5k for it.
