Nope i aint mate, Its my birthday next month and even the odd £10 is being put towards it.
So i recon on the bay being done in the new year now as xmas it around the corner and it'll be done
I get the impression that you spend EVERY spare minute you have working on ya car!! That would make me go crazy

Nice smilies!!
Na, I don't spend that much time working on it really.
Only a few hours a week and mainly weekday nights when i don't see my girlfriend. I get bored watching TV so i'd rather work on the car.

Hello Paul,
Just thought this deserved a bit of a bump as it was on page 3 (not a bad place to be though )
Have you been able to spend any time on the car lately?
Matt.

Nope
Just seemed to have lost a bit of interest over the past few weeks, have had a few ££ problems which have needed sorting.
I'm going to try and pop over there before xmas just to make sure its still there!!
Will defo get my arse into gear in the new year and get over there, just need to get the bay painted and then i can get back into full swing.................
Just unsure on which way to get it done, d.i.y or get a sprayshop to do it??

If you decide DIY i have a decent little compressor and a wicked DeVilbis spray gun you can borrow, with air lines the lot, you would just need to get the paint (i have some activator you can have) and prep and mask the bay up.
Job done for about £20.
Have you asked Damo V if he could do it?

WOW Cheers Matt, i really appreicate the offer of borrowing your tools.
I have some paint left over from when the car was sprayed earlier on in the year, could i use that you think??
I will speak to Damo and see what he says/thinks.
I'm not 100% sure on what i have to do do prep the bay up, any advice on that?

No worrys, if you need them they are there.
As long as its 2pac and wasn't mixed with activator it should all mix up and be fine to use.
Preping is easy, although its very time consuming and you MUST be very patient with it, as a rule i always tried to spend about 85% of my time prepping and just 15% masking and painting.
Use a wet and dry paper of about 1200 grit, as most of the panels under the bay are very fiddly its all hand work i'm afraid.
Just keep the area wet and rub till its a smooth dull finish.
If you ever wanted any help just shout.
