#531
First off i gotta say how pleased i am with the work Wayne and Co at
did with the fitting of my cooler, rad and header tank!
So Heres a BIG Thanks To You Guys!!!!
Right........ No photos of the car going to the secret location facility in the underground bunker, but some of the outstanding work done.........
The Finished Job
The Header Tank
And the mods done to it.........
Lower Lug for original mounting
Upper Lug for original mounting
Some general snaps.........
My cooler and fans
There must be like,2-3mm of clearence there
Superb job with the cutting of the front panel tho
Back on the trailer and homeward bound (Who's that chap on the phone in the background??)
Again, i'm 100% over the moon with the brilliant fitment and thanks to Wayne for the fabrication mods for it all to fit so snuggly
I hope you enjoyed ya carrot cake lads, now back to getting stuck in with the final few hurdles
Oh and thanks to Tony for keeping company on the 2nd trip up there and Tony and Bish on the first trip on Sunday
Oh and one last thing, a thanks to Tony for spraying my bonnet hinges with his skill and care.

Yeah, I took those photos on my new 6230i, it has a 1.3 mega pixel camera, bluetooth, mp3 player.......... etc.....
Awesome bit of spraying I think you will agree, and in the last picture, you can see one of the little aliens I made. Not come up with a name for the speices as yet, but they look like the ones you blast in the age old 80's classic arcade game of "Galaxian"

No, it was because I was spraying in a force 10 gale, and as the paint was leaving the can it was being blown off into the atmosphere, missing the hinges lol

Another update....
The old man (namly my daddy) was getting bored with me moaning about the cabbie and has reached into his ankle deep pockets and purchased a few bits for me from Fords!!! Big Up Ma Daddy

Rocker Cover fixed on with my new stainless hex bolts and washers.
New Rotor Arm
New Dizzy Cap
Mondeo 2.0 16v Exhaust Head Studs & Nuts
New Plugs (Rs Turbo spec)
I cleaned up the old MotorCraft leads that were on the engine when i got it, they've come up a treat AND there red
All connected up and fitted my new rocker cover oil filler cap
New charge carrier rubbers
All fitted
Getting there now, can't wait to get it in the bay now

Just had a brainwave
The lady who owns the garage next door to me, her husband (before he died) was an engineer/mechanic and her garage is full to the brim with all his old tools, welding equipment, air lines, compressors, you name it its in there somewhere.
And attached to the roof beams is...........
So, going to have a word as she said i could use whenever i wanted and whatever i wanted.
So the engine maybe in sooner than i anticipated
Yay to the old lady next door
