Ha the reason im skint is because of running an M3! Leaves me no money for the cos.

£250 is seriously cheap! Would be happy with that seeing as id be paying near that for a normal setup, may have to ring him this week to discuss.

If/when the t34 shits itself i will be getting it converted to a 38 seeing as the greys will still flow happily

Gaz and paul - Are T38's frustatingly laggy or are they ok to live with? not sure wether to chase 400+ or just enjoy a punchy T34 with .48 housing.
Bearing in mind im going from a stage 1 T3 set up

Ive heard t38's are a great turbo, or why dont you just get a holset hx30 or a hx35? big turbos that can take 40 psi all day long pmsl

That crystal blue saph i lost alot of money on, £200 deposit and a week later lost £1400 in an evelope to get it,Car was only £2960 and the bloke didnt have a clue what it was worth.I wasnt a happy chappy at all, i put those pics up of when i left deposit down and was expecting to collect it a few days later Plus i wasnt really happy with paying £2200 insurance at 19, so im march when im 20 it should be a wee bit cheaper

I think id actually throw up if i physically lost that much. thats gutter mate

Yeh when you hit 20 insurance drops a lot cuz your not a teen any more.

Although affordable and strong, holsets are seriously laggy from what ive heard and seen in vids. not sure my bottom end would like 30+ psi lol

haha i know, i cried for a few days and was a right stroppy cunt, I always wanted a massive bine and external gate to look hardcore but it can be slower with a bigger turbo at less boost than a smaller turbo at higher boost, sell your t34 and get a t38 and get some more vids up of being a hooligan lol!

Ram your bottom end would love 30 psi ! Mine sure did !

I dont find the 38 laggy it's miles better than u thought, the tt one would be laggier I'm sure as it has the bigger front, I think cr convert them for about 450

I didn't find my T38 that laggy tbh mate, certainly no worse than a few T34 cars I've driven!

I may even get another one to get mine running again if I keep it.

I hate you all for prolonging my build and making me spend more money

If i do upgrade i just need to decide whats more cost effective, get my T34 rebuilt into a 38 for £450. or sell mine and try find a dud one for cheap and get that rebuilt.

Will running standard cams and head be a big disadvantage as far as lag is concerned though? im not upgrading those too!

WR1 as in the mint blue coloured blob eye scooby? the one that is stupidly expensive just cuz its a 'special edition'? ie. 12k expensive? the one that looks boring?

SORT IT OUT NORMAN! I could think of many better cars than that!

I've found a couple cheaper than that mate!!!

I like the look of the WR1 mate, don't see so many of them about either.

Just fed up with the whole situation with my saph that I just want out now.

To be honest mate i can understand why your so disheartened by it all now I'd be fuming. you got your block back yet? courts gonna be the only way i reckon for that amount of money.

You not into a R32 or 33 GTR? i would. but then the scoob is a newer better equipped car i guess.
I might be in london this weekend so will breeze through watford sunday for a catch up

Bolted the T34 up today with new damper

My rs500 style roose hoses and high torque jubilees arrived from rapid ford. top service from Natalie & Dan

An old work mate who used to work at cosworth gave me this ages ago, so thought id finally get it on

Also made some replica motorcraft battery decals at work..

And heres how shes looking at the mo, nearly there!

Only thing about the hoses is there a matt texture, no escape even from fingerprints, gonna be a bastard to keep clean

Tomorrow im doing oil change and new coolant with water wetter, Then i just need to get down to earls fittings at silverstone in the week and order my oil feed pipe with inline filter and fancy fittings Did ask Mike rainbird as he also does these earls feed setups but I got the impression he wasnt interested So i'll take some measurements and do it myself for less

Also Need a T34 actuator bracket as my t3 ones too small, so if anyones got one let me know

Those hoses look awesome mate

I think I may have an actuator bracket of my T34 in the garage.....I've swapped from a 2wd manifold to a 4x4 manifold.

And I'll be selling my SCS/UT spec T38 in a couple of months

Update time..

Got the bay finished and fitted up my oil feed with inline filter (which earls cocked up twice and sent me non anodised fittings )..

Dropped the car at oddkidd creations and left it in Jano's capable hands to get a set up, clutch change and mot.

Kane the oddkiddd dog

Picked it up saturday and headed up to Watford to see the lads and have a bufty session

Heres how shes now looking..

Ive got some focus RS Brembos to go on. Just need to get discs, brackets and braided lines. But i'll wait till next month to fit them as ive spent enough this month. even 6 month tax has gone up to £118!

Already having problems though the dreaded cossie missfire.

Think its water getting in somewhere though as it started doing it about an hour after i washed the car saturday. up till this afternoon it had been slowly clearing up and miss firing less. left it on driveway in the rain for a few hours this eve then just took it out and its miss firing so much it cut out and left me at the side of the road trying to start it

Eventually got it going and got it home. gonna sort it out tomorrow after work hopefully. just dry everything out, oil all connections and see where water is going.

Hopefully have it sorted and ragging down the strip at central nxt weekend
