Default WHAT ENGINE ???

Rite all the planning for my xr2 is being done, cash is being put away for the fabrication work thats gonna be needed for the rwd conversion...

But!!!

I still can decide on an engine.. So below ive made a list of the 1's floating round in my head! Now if anyone can help me out, the final decision i know must come from me, but the way im working it out is by cost in general, i know by sticking a carb'd CVH in il just pay for the engne, but the others i guess will be alot of work involved but less for the engine itself...

So here we go:

1.8 CVH from Ferriday, the full works basicly, as far as you can go with a CVH (twin 40's too)

2.0 CVH again from Ferriday, and again all bells and whistles (twin 40's)

2.0 ZETEC With minor mods like cams, induction etc

2.0 Rover K-series again minor mods

Cheerz!

to be honest ive drove a 2ltr focus.. and i drive my dads 420sli rover.. and id say once you get it moving the rover doesnt stop pulling til your well upto 130mph

wer as the focus died of at around 100mph.. i suppose the main question is gearbox, ecu, loom, fuel tank..least if its all ford it may be easier.. gonna need 2 get prices etc i reckon!

im using the 2.0 zetec in my rwd fiesta, and thats what i would surgest to you to use. they go straight on to the gearbox and theres load of companys which do conversions to rwd.
