Looking good mate not long now till you start putting it back together. Have you made and changes on how your doing parts? Are you doing the interior before the crash or after the crash? Can't remember how you did the radiator surround, but think you did it before the crash?

The car was one spec before he crashed it then he made changes to it E.g inlet manifold, cross strut, rear rad enclosure, changes to the dash etc and rear windows to allow ducts to the rad. Then when the car was sold minus engine and transmission Lief painted it silver and did a cut out in the bonnet for his big turbo.

Can't believe you ended up re painting the whole car again lol, the work is amazing and the car looks pretty much perfect, wish mine could move on a bit, but its on hold till the Puma sells, really want to get started on the rollcage but as you well know it all takes time lol and alot of it. Hoping to see this come along once the shell is completed, keep it up mate.

Thanks Guys .
The car is painted but as some of you know i have been hit with a major set back,The auto paint shop where i got my paint has mixed it wrong mainly that its missing the green pearl that you see in my pics when i first painted it i call it green but its actually blue mica pearl,so i did think when i was spraying it that it look dark but said as this is a one colour to the ral code that it can't be wrong next morning i rolled the car to be hit a good blow no green showing in the car in the daylight so its all steps backwards for the next few weeks

Ok guys a very quick run down of my paint colour issue,I painted the car last week with the paint i got a few weeks back to the ral code as this is a one shade colour only bit hard to get it wrong anyway as i was painted the car i taught it look darker but really passed it off as it was not in sunlight, once took out into the opening light i was well pi##ed the was no green pearl showing so then checked the paint i had just used against what i had left over from the first time i sprayed clearly two different colour so i had to call to see the owner of the paint shop to see what would be done.Once there they said yes it look to be too dark and they would mix 1/10 to compare against what i used to make sure they did not mix it wrong. At this point he too my paint into the mixing room with him and when comparing the two i could see no difference but 15 mins early it was clear to see but i did notice that on my paint pot there was two different shade line inside so i knew he had tinited my to match ,some pics
my car in 2013, clear to see the green pearl in it
As it is painted in the new paint mixed to the same code two different colours,
The bad bit the difference between the front panel with new paint and the front bumper which is from the first time I painted it. you should be able to see there is a green pearl like colour in the bumper that not in the front panel and also this is what make the colour pop in sun light
below are pic of the paint in the cans so at this point I have not touched other than pouring it into mixing pots,so it is as it came from the supplier,
first pic left tin is the paint that's not right and the right tin is my paint from 2013 it clear to see that the left is darker than the right.
Pic of my 3 paints looking in to the paint,
1. the darker paint that the car is currently painted with
2. Paint left over from when I sprayed it in 2013.
3. New paint I got yesterday from the same supplier as pic 2 in 2013.
You can clearly see that pic 2 and 3 have a green tint in it where pic 1 is just blue
When back to the shop at first he said yes it is alot darker than it should be and would mix a 1/10 to compare at this point he also took my paint into the mixing room and when i looked in the tin with my paint that was wrong i could see two different colours of blue on the edge line so he had tinted mine down i could not prove this but i was well pi**ed what a prick pic of my paint before and after going to the auto paint shop,
before
After he had it in the mixing room and said he could see no difference,
I showed him my car and try'd to put across my case that no matter what or even if a armature had painted ok the shade could change but it would still contain the green pearl at this point he said he could see no green in both my original panel and pics of a mustang i said well maybe your colour blind:headbang:,Anyway yesterday i painted the small driver side skirt with the paint tampered with by the supplier and put it against the wing of the car that was painted last week very clear to see the skirt has a green pearl and the wing is just blue showning no pearl,

Wel what a pain it is as I have the car painted, and have to redo in the right colour my big mistake was not getting the paint where I got in 2013.I got the paint that not right from a supplier closer to me and who we use at work.but well annoyed by the stunt the owner has pulled on me changing my messed up colour to match what it should be without him thinking I wouldn't notice I cant very well prove what he did but the pics of the same paint can above been a dark blue and once we left the paint shop the same painting amazingly has the green pearl.maybe the green was having an off day and didn't want to show up.like no matter how dumb you are I cant make a colour appear from nowhere so how did it get in the paint after I sprayed the car.well I didn't think people could stoop so low😈

Thats a huge pain in the arse mate, had paint shops do the same before and it is just wrong, especially with the amount of prep that needs doing. just realised you've not welded up the 2" holes for the gromits in the floor also, I'd welded mine up just to be rid of the holes lol
