I am Davey, 20 years old and from the Netherlands.

I`m reading and replying on this forum for a while now.
This is gonna be the project thread for my ol` Ford

I`ve got a `87 Escort Mk4 1.4 CL.
Maybe some wil recognize it, its the one with the 16" Steelies






The 1.4 bored me, so got a 1.6 out of an XR2.
Was more fun, but now its time to get some more
Bought myself a 1.3 Escort, with complete RS Turbo running gear in it

Stripped it, and got all parts i needed of it.
Also got a second engine, and cilinderhead.

Engine i`m using is perfect, doens`t need oversized pistons.

So orderd parts for the rebuild:



Not al of it is on the pic, but this is what ive got:

-Pistonrings
-Crackbearings
-Pistonrod bearings
-Head gasket
-Sump gasket
-Bolts for the cilinderhead
-Waterpump
-Thermostat
-Timingbelt and tensioner
-Oil seals
-Clutch

Think i`m forgetting something, but i don`t know what..

Got a stock T3 turbo, but with a -31 Actuator.
Have a stock IC, but also of a Renault Trafic, and BMW 535D.
Not sure if i use the original, or a bigger one..
But first the engine rebuild

Started on the car aswell.
Got some new arms on it, and putted the RST breaks on it.





Disks are Brembo`s. Pads are from TRW.

Tomorrow i`m will get bizzy with the engine, so will get some pics up asap
