this is my 1976 ford escort rs2000 series "x" in signal yellow
this is a genuine mk2 escort rs2000 with a very interesting history

over the years several people have confirmed that this car was the first ever mk2 rs2000 in scotland when drew gallacher took delivery of it in june 1976, direct from the supplying dealer "doe motors" in essex- presumably before any scottish dealers managed to get hold of any!
The numberplate "ooo 800p" was removed from the car around 10 years ago and i believe it is now back in the hands of the gallacher family in ayrshire where the car spent most of its life.
I have all the previous owners history from dvla confirming ownership and the original numberplate etc which confirm this cars identity
