Looks awesome mate, little bizarre not seeing the sticker down the side but as you said, it's a rep.
Tiger stripes would suit it to a tee I reckon

How do you know its a 16i shell?
It looks like an XR3 one to me. The battery tray isnt mounted like a 16i one?

Battery tray was cut out due to rust and replaced with a standard one, so can't really go on that. However I do have suspicions if it is one, but all the numbers match etc and now has no rust so that's the most important thing to me.

it does look good now its finished! how about painting the grill then or paint the wheels as it looks odd with different shades of white!

Yeah going to repaint the wheels, as you said it looks funny with the different shades, thinking either same white as car or satin black with white lip.
