cheers everyone ive actually kept the sideskirts of it as a like it without them the exhaust is off a escort rs2000 sure its a full scorpian system i had to make it longer to fit my van sure its 3" ive got some updates got the driveshaft changed and that cured the shaking also got a chip and fitted the manifold and decat pipe and powderd sum nice bits and bobs under the bonnet

I would of thought that while it was being prepped would of been the perfect opportunity to get a Mk5 RS2000 front end on it, but I guess that's why people have there own tastes.

i prefer the mk6 front end only thing i am doing i havnt seen anyone do is cut the bulges out a mk5 rs2000 bonnet and fix them into a mk6 bonnet

small update jamp in the van the other day started heading over to work am sayin suhin doesnt feel right here hink ma tyres flat lol this was the problem wen a got out to check lol sorted anyway nae damage watsoever got a few bits in bobs put on new driveshafts as my old ones wer goosed put the modded manifold on decat pipe chip powderd the rocker cover sparkle silver,candy lime green,clear starlite done the strut brace granny sparkle green wasnt busy one day last week in just decided to make a side exit lol so took a trip over to simons custom exhaust told him the story i basically wanted to chop my exsisting system where the bend takes it over the back beam bend it out then it clears the rear beam and shocky ect he told me if he put it under the sill it would smash off everything and id have to cut a bit out the sill so i took it back down the road and got out the grinder belive it or not this only took me a hour start to finish aesold the lot lol took it back over and they done a top job on it not the best pics but will get a few good ones

ps a wee sneaky peak off the mrs brief wae big stus old comp mos there done auto charcoal metalic and sorry a canny write worth a fuck lol



































































am gawna change the calipers on the focus to red white was all a had lying about at the time

slight mishapp lol heading to work yesterday coming throo holytown main st approach the lights at the t juction just as am going throo the green light straight on towards bellshill sum crazy old guy jumps the lights and comes flying round the corner into my path cldnt do anyhin was over in a flash soon as a got to the junction whammmm basically that was it a steered away from his path where he kept turning intowards me lol anyway only a bit of metal at the end of the day no cunts dead so fuk it the van was looking a bit tacky anyway was due to pull her of the road for a ful coat of paint at crimbo time











plans are get a new shell get her lookin like old besy then hit the full hing with a coat of frozen white then fire aw the running gear back onty the new van powder coating the shit oot ae everyhin in the process obv

adie you should chop the back half of the old van off and turn it into a custom trailer so that it matches your new van when you get it done.

not to worry lads piked this old beuty up off reid lastnite and wasted no time after work today gettin it ready





























as you can see from the pics its not the best but itl do , got wings , inner sills outer sills , inner and outer rear panel coming gawney chop the old rear panel sills and wings off tomorro ready for blasting and priming over the weekend if use thought my last van was nice wait tae ye see this one iam doing the full bhoona oan this anyhin a take off will be replaced with either new or fully refurbished parts including everything a can powder coated in crazy colours full van will be frozen white inside underneith and outside keep checkin bk for updates

another wee update got the sills off rear panel and wings also striped the sound deading off the floor ready for blasting tomorrow as you can see from the pics am going to have to cut out the back passanger rear arch section of my old van and piece it in to sort out nasty rust

got another update tonite got the inside blasted and half the engine bay not bad for half an hours work tomorrow ill roll the front subframe with struts ect out and get the van up on 2 wheels so i can blast underneith and all the arches also gawney cut the bodge inner sill jobs sumones done and sort that out aswell as prime inside underneith and the engine bay woop woop

starting to wonder if id be aswell as restoring this mk2 tranny lol





or maybe this mk1



anyway hings didnt look good this morning pishin ae rain



but by 5ish it cleared up and was finished with wheels so back to work on the van

another wee update and heres sum random pics of a 1.6 pug gti engine a guys doing into a coffee table he droped it off and told me just to clean it up and do something with it went from this

not bad for a coffee table lol

back to the van basically am trying to get this on the road asap hence some of the dodgy metal working shown next nothing a grinder , seam sealer and stone chip wont hide ive made up some new inner sills (still to be stregthend and trimmed straight) i cut the rust out the front floor pans and welded new sheet metal pans ontop of what was left of the old floor pans

chopping the old cowboyd sills and plates welded to the floor





this is how the old sills wer put on welded above the swedge line hideos



someone had allready choped halfthe reinforcer away

another wee update got the sills on killed an annoyin wasp stripped front suspension stuff of ready for powdering and got a box of nuts and bolts ready for acid dipping a zinc coating





this motherfuker got bbqd



how the last sills should have went on

another bit done on the van gt the inner and outer back panel on , passanger rear lower quarter pieced in and all my front end stuff a had striped down the other day van goes on its side tomorrow for full underneith blasting final welding sealing and stonechip









even managed to save my bullet hole

another wee update got the underside blasted and primed grinded the rear quarter to ruff shape and built sum of the suspension up

old axil off might do the lowering trick to this one aswell

cowboys have been at it again filling this nice strengthner up with a dod of fibre glass and sum stonechip

hopefully by the end of the week ill have all the welding finished primed again sealed , stone chiped and painted frozen white then bk on its 4 wheels for the wings to go on then finish the repairs

This van is going to be the nuts, one question, do you have the part number for the rear outer panel for where the plate screws to. My van has suffered a bump and the panel is wrecked and i dont want to cover it with a fibreglass bumper.

another update gt one more plate to weld in then just needs blasting etch primer high build primer sealed and stone chiped



bit extreme but it should last







cut out roughly where the exhaust comes out

well update time got all the tac welds fully welded up, blasted , etched , primed and sealed and after a coat of etch 2 coats of high build primer 10 cans of stone chip a tin of seam sealer and 2 coats of frozen white am ready to get her rolling again and finish of the repairs to the body then its paint timeeee
