if i end up buyin a 2.3 galaxy bottom end to bolt my rs2000 head to, will i be able to make it fit in a mk4 escort the same as an rs2000 engine would fit?? and will i be able to keep the rs2000 radiator etc.

plus if i end up keeping the mk4 xr3i gearbox, rs2000 head n galaxy 2.3 bottom end will the gearbox keep blowing? would it be better to put the rs2000 box with it? bit of a mouthful i know but new to all this.
just want summat different n pretty nippy

also how much can i pick up a set of throttle boddies up for which will fit the rs2000?

i presume it will fit the same way mate,
id use the mtx75 if you can,
best things for you to do is get signed up on www.rs2000-16v.com as there are a few 2.3 builds going on over there.
one thing worth noting is the 2.3 isnt a direct replacement for the 2.0 bottom end.

dont worry about doing a 2.3 conversion. get a good rs2000 engine and rs turbo lsd gearbox. in mk4.... you need to cutomise the engine mount on drivers wing.
then wiring it all up.

use the rs turbo rad...
