major change of plans with the escort, after a closer inspection the "mint" mexico wings supposedly fitted by a top company were infact fitted so badly that i chopped them off and binned them the wing bands had been glued to the old wing bands and were only attached to the wing by a bead of sealent that would have been fun with near 400 bhp if that wasnt enough started preping the floor for paint and wasnt happy with the inner rear arches so on closer investigation guess what, new ones stuck over the old ones also cock eyed lol so after a call to rally design and Ł460 lighter the car is now getting steel arched going to need monster wheels as the mustang axle has been shortened so my wheels are up for grabs in the for sale section if anyones after some,a few pics of progress so far

got loads done last couple of weeks, just got the computer back so heres some pics
pass side rear bubble and new inners are now fitted
then i primed up the boot
the rear arches looked crap the way they come back in on themselves at the bottom so mel modified them from this
to this
next drilled the doors lightweight look
converted doors to bolt on
after being pissed about by countless painters invested in a couple of decent guns and set about it myself first did all the underside
then the engine bay and boot
fitted up the running gear so can get the body sorted
back on its wheels at last
thats it for now cheeRS

cheers for the comments lads starting to get there now seems like its taken forever,
graham liked the original colour le mans but wanted something different was going to do it kawasaki green but found this colour propper in your face green lol we thought about just using steel bolts but to get it right would be a nightmare the bolts would have to be that tight a fit you may as well use pins,i know rally boys do it but they just do it for practicality they not bothered what the door gaps are like as long as they open lol
