What roll bar mounts have you used on the rear roll bar as see you have fitted a Escort/saff one with some alloy blocks..
Are the spacer blocks 100% needed? Could you get away without them? I understand on the saffs/Escos' that they have a raised part on the rear cross member but was hoping I could bolt straight to my cross member.

i've used a escort arb.
i think you need the blocks because the 3dr/saph and escort all have a raised fixing point for the arb.
when i place mine up without any blocks the full arb was sat flat against the cross member and i think it would bang like hell or not be able to move properly.
there must have been a reason why ford raised the fixing points and did'nt leave it flat?
i have the measurements if you do decide to do it the same as me
Cheers bud
I may take you up on that, not sure what im doing yet as I was tempted to swap the cross member but the underside is all painted now so don't want to do anymore cutting/welding etc unless I have to
