Hi guys,

I'm new to posting on here but been lurking around for some time.

I have recently aquired a Fiesta Mk3 1991 1.3l Automatic.

I don't like automatic transmission and I want to use this car for a project conversion to an RS Turbo 1800 or xr2i?

Now, I realise I need to buy a whole new engine etc. and I'm up for that. Will it work converting from an automatic gear box to 5 speed manual during the engine upgrade process?

I am quite car literate and have had a Corsa RedTop C20LET project before. How easy is this conversion etc.? Any general information is greatly appreciated. I have searched the forums high and low but can only find limited information etc.

Does anyone have a link to a conversion guide?

Any lastly, what engine would you recommend for the conversion? RS1800, Xr2i, RS2000 etc. I would like it to be turbo'd or atleast leave me the option of fitting the turbo.
