Pre new years update
ben so busy with work and my place but popped over to XWORKSS to have a chat and get some new ideas put on the table regarding power steering as im using wide wheels on the front and dont want to struggle at low speeds!
wheels pre arches
with kit on so can work out wheel spacers, the spacers will be proper bolt on hub adaptors not shim type
here is a few other pics
the only bit of rust soon to be cut out and repaired
few cage pics
more pics to upload

Bit of an update
Been really busy with the sale of my house and the purchase of somewhere new but bigger
Loads been happening with the car behind the scenes with fuel system and transmission and also engine being built
Few pics
Bought a spare series x kit and us spec grill
Also sold my omen 600 as it was deemed pants so I bought one of these
This was the gearbox ready for shipment to a well know motorsport transmission specialist
The car has evolved again but this is the last time as it will never get finished and enjoyed plus my new house has a garage so the kart and car have a resting place one finished

Just a small update
been so so busy with the sale of my bungalow and the purchase of a house, and finally i have a garage and space for a workshop instead of using my parents double garage or using mine and my dads workshop as it cant cater for my car stuff as it will be in the way!
now all ill say is moving is the most stressfull time ever!!!!!!
but we are finally in and ive slowly been collecting parts for the build!
now i have nearly 80% of the parts req just waiting on steve at xworkss to get busy with the welder and all the parts i have then i can get it home for a full etch prime and a dummy build
bought one of these dashes as it will work in harmoney with my omex 710
also bought one of these to do towing duties for the fiesta and my kart
2.2 st tdci with 49k on the clock!

Just a quick update
Picked this up this morning from IKEngineering, full steel crank tested upto 12000rpm so now the engine is all steel
so now the engine can be test assembled and everything check before having final build and await dry sump system to be finished then its just exhaust then off to dyno!
heres some pictures
With 1 of the rods and piston

Nice!
Was that IK crank the one that destrokes the engine down in capacity to give a better rod ratio?
The head shouldn't hold you back for that power either

A frind of mine has seen 270bhp from an ST170 with allot of mods and some huge cams nasp
Revs were limited due to piston speed issues on an 88mm crank
what stroke crank are you running to reach 10'000rpm?
I asume your also going dry sump with a custom pump to handle the revs?
PS Nice project by the way

i am really liking this build. you will see 270 no problem on this...well before 10k aswell.
IF you can get it to rev to 10k and stay in one piece you will see over 300bhp
i have looked at that crank...it is 88mm.

Picked car up from fabricator
It's only about 60% done but had to pull it out of there as there isn't alot of allotted time slots at exhaust fabricators and also pro alloy do car goes to Chris tullet race exhausts in the morning for a week then to pro alloy for 2 weeks then back to xworkss for a finish off before I get it home to dry build then final strip down before paint
