Boought the car hasnt been started in 5 years, started on the key first time after a quick charge of the battery, now the car starts fine but if i hold the revs in 1 place it misfires and splutters but if i accelerate through the rev range its fine and stays on all 4 cylinders, its very very very rich smell from exhaust of petrol, i changed the spark plugs and leads, new oil 5 years agi but never been driven since then, did have old fuel in it but no different after fuel flush, so in summary anywhere in the rev range it splutters of i holld it there but is fine when accellerating
