hi all,iam a new member with a problem with fitting the st170 instrument cluster on my zetec focus,the harness plug fits no problem,but theres a two wired plug on top of the unit,that must light the numbers up,with ared wire and a red and yellow one,i cant get any info as to where these go,any help please.

they for the rev limiter mate and u just cant but the clocks in cos your car wont start
cos the clocks hold the pats info

They WILL fit and work no problem, however you also need the oil pressure/temp guages that plug into the clocks, this little unit has got the power pack for the illumination.

The clocks have nothing to do with PATS or any security features. All they do is receive a datastream via SCP and display it in various means.
