Cosmo stripping started..
As already mentioned on a previous post the standard (ish) engine is being fitted to a Belgian Escort Cos. I'm pretty sure I know which direction the car is going in now, at least it has a purpose again. 
Here's some shots of the underside, its a bit grubby but it will soon wipe clean.

I have thought about it and its staying 4x4
There's no way a 4x4 can be fast, is there??

Why would you say that lad, without me this Topspeed lark would be a shambles & almost certainly Martin would not have stuck to achieving 200mph 
, you should be greatful that myself & Martin are prepared to have a go at doing things that aint been done before, do you start to understand what its going to take to get an old Saff & a Mondy past 210 or can I suggest 215, no winners or losers at this level lad just respect. I will give it my best shot & Martin his. You guys should be cheering us both on not trying to stir up things that exist only in the minds of people on this Forum.

I think that comment was meant to be a bit of lighthearted banter.
I got a lot of respect for Mark and yourself for what you have achieved with
your car but I think you need to lighten up a bit and to stop talking down to people as if you are so much better than them. Just my opinion.
Anyways, back on topic. Good stuff martin! Should be beastie when it's done!

dont get me wrong i am in awe of what rod has doen and gettin a 150mph car over 200mph takes a massive amount of dedication and effort, but that just struck me as a bit arrogant,

Its a lot more stable at speed than the Escort, at 200mph its planted where the Escort feels like its floating!

I still love this car and I think I always will, the colour really sets it off and with a big power motor it is definitely got to be one to watch.
