Looks absolutely amazing. As above, what paint did u use and did u brush t on or use a compressor. I'd love to have my underneath done like that. Dont suppose u do it as a job do u? If so how much please lol. Keep up the great work!

Did u brush it on or spray it with a gun? Just ive heard of people using literally a roller and tray which would be ideal for me as i cant spray and dont have the tools.

Just remembered what i was going to ask the other night. Your fuel pump carrier, the bolt that goes into the box section of the chassis, does it have a nut on the other side? because i tried undoing it and it just keeps turning, no sign of coming undone. Is that fuel pump cradle new or just repainted?

Yes mate its got a bolt behind mine was rusty so had to hacksaw the bolt to get mine of. I had the pump cradle sandblasted and powder coated. Hope this helps

Yeah, i just wondered why the bolt kept turning when trying to undo it. The other one is easy enough as u can access the other side as its in the spare wheel well, its just the one in that section and i dont want to take the suspension arms out again.
Shame you dont live closer, i'd quite happily pay u to make the underneath of my car radiant red like yours lol.
Just been outside into the garage and looked underneath mine with an inspection light, isnt pretty compared to the engine bay and bodywork, flaking underseal here and there and i wish i hadnt had all my tank painted red and suspension arms etc powdercoated red. Think im going to strip the underneath and get all suspension, roll bar etc done original black.

Thanks guys
Took the cossie for its mot this morning so Ive put it away till next year. The tester put it up on the ramp and said is it even worth looking at think they couldnt get there head round someone spending that much time painting under a car he he. So the s2 is on the road now and Ive been out in it most of today and very happy with it. Brings back some good memories. Only slight problem I had was alot of travel in the brake padel so I took of the rear drums wound out the shoes abit and all good. Will get some more pics up soon.
