Carlo a reply to your pm, first off great motor and what a car tyo start with 500 gear and splits

The pin on mine is too thick and i'm removing it and fitting a 3-4mm one, i spoke to Dave from DMB and he said he can do it in the same colour as the rear decal which is exact colour as the OE item.

This is the badge i'm having on the wing again in the same colour



Just out of interest mate have you seen or heard anything about our old S1?

 

When the lad sold it to andy i think the engine bay was bling city lol everything was done mate

Chris the s1 went to a collector along with concourse mk2 rs2000's mexico's , mk1 rs2000's ect its in a bubble for a long time havent heard any more than that.

The cosworth badge looks good for the wing if you get one done i might get thr number & have one the same.

The saph needed set up really turbo was surging i just lost intrest but im sure it was something stupid.

Stoo just get yourr finger out & buy one your loaded anyway

Right where do i start.
Firstly i have ordered full set of samco hoses in black.
I have ordered a car looms uk engine loom, with built in lead for secs monitor, & coil pack kit.(i wouldnt own a cossie without one of these looms)
Alternator heatsheild (pete rs specialist)
o/s pillar pod (paul ' north yorks) want the interior standard getting rid of the boost gauge & volt meter.
I have a rocker cover being done by twins black with polished top , blue writing.
All new black samco hose for the breather as well as that braded stuff is tatty.
New grp A cone filter.
All engine sensors & bosh 044 fuel pump (ag motorsport)
Its all happening.
Secs monitor on order (mike rainbird)
i will hopefully get stuck in this weekend.
Might need to order a new chp for the car as i dont think its for the same spec as the engine. got to try find out the exact spec of the engine first.
& its booked in to get a new alarm fitted.

AG motorsport mate , i will get it mot'd at andrews , fuel pressure checked & get it on the rollers to make sure everything is ok. Now andy is mot'ing as well its a one stop shop

Thanks ppl , waiting on my engine loom coming , had a bit of trouble with samco getting hoses in time so rapid ford are getting me some roose ones for 2 moro hopefully ,rocker cover is close as well , oil change is done, new phase sensor fitted the old one never had any plastic on the wires , new crank sensor , new breather hoses , water hoses , 044 pump , hopefully this weekend all going well it will be up & running.
Any detailers in ayrshire want a job cleaning it up drop me a pm want a good job done.Then its off to ag motorsport for mot & rolling road.

Awright mate i got a lad from my work to come today & clean it

Few updates today the engine bay is finnished apart from the loom just waiting on ryan sendung it , had a nightmare with the rear spoiler tonight tho someone had sealed it on all wrong i got a cand wheel removed the sealer fitted it the best i can but think i might need another one i will see how it is in the morning with the tape off.hopefully get mot'd next sat









cant get any more decent pics untill the car is running as i cant push it out the garage cause ive got a fucking hernia
