Well a little update After i took the car and panels to the paint shop 11 month ago im STILL waiting for most of my panels back.

I've got a few bits like side skirts, bonnet vents, fuel cap.
I also went and collected 2 of my doors yesterday and they are shocking, i think i could of done a better job myself, one of the doors still has a small dent in it and the other looks like the paint has re-acted and he hasnt put enough laquer on the top of the door.

PISSED OFF don't come close, not sure what to do now as ive already paid him being the idiot that i am.
I really wanted to kick off in the paint shop and tell him to do them again but his sister has just died the other day and did'nt want to upset him anymore.

Well thanks for the positive comments people!!!

I've been doing a few bits and bobs in some spare time.
First of all i took the rear axle to work and stripped it ready to get powder coated

I asked the guy if he would do the bits anthracite but when i went to pick them up they are more like a primer grey so was a bit dissapointed but the colour is starting to grow on me now.
What do you's lot think????

I also took the engine cross member with steering rack to work stripped and cleaned them

Got them painted and my brother bolted them back together

We also got the abs pump bolted back on and the abs block

I stripped, cleaned, painted and fitted the wiper motor and linkage

I painted my boot carpet satin black and fitted it

Got my doors back from the painters AGAIN and they still need polishing but i fitted them anyway

A few other bits i had powder coated ans fitted with nice new bolts

Thanks for looking any comments welcome good or bad.

A small update but hopefully things are starting to go in the right direction.
After i got the paint work done and put all the panels back on i was really unhappy with the job the painter had done, he had ruined my car and i was in two minds to keep it or just get rid.

But my brother (little bram) talked me into keeping it and said he would help me get it painted again, so we searched for some painters that were not to far away and at a decent price.

Finaly i have found a one who has his own recovery truck so has picked my car up and is painting it then dropping it back off all in with the price.

He piced it up on Monday 7th and i called through today for a sneaky look and im over the moon with what he has done so far, the shell boot and bonnet were painted and looked a million times better than before I wish i got some pics now.

Here are a few pics of it on his truck. ( you can see in the pic the n/s/f door is a different colour the the rest of the car)
