evenin one and all! just quick question... wots the best way to refurb a set of 16" mondeo rims? where do you start????there goin anthracite or black and there scuffed slightly round the edges any answers would b much appriciated!

 

get them shot blasted, tidy up the rim with a file or sand paper, get them powder coated, job done

 

you can buy refurb kits from halfrods,cant say if it will work but there £12 so its gotta be worth a try

 

i refurbed my own wheels on my fiesta , 15 gti alloys ans they where abit fooked,. i rubbed all the alloys down with various grades of sandpaper, then i used a metal filler called METALLIC u can get it from halfrauds , sanded the wheels again so they where smooth then primed, painted matt black and lacquered them. job done. just let all the air out the tyres then mask around the inside of the wheel. easy
