underside resto...
As promised, some close up pics of Nels parts that i restored for him.
Aluminium parts and other parts that couldnt be powder coated were degreased and media blasted ready for wet painting.

Powder coated parts shot in Solar Rain, which is like a satin Black but much richer in colour.

Hi Gav
Sorry I should have rephrased that better.
Yes they can be powder coated no problem but in all honesty powder coating on cast aluminium seems to give a false finish on it im my eyes, especially in any silver, and would also just about cover up any cast prints like Ford logos and finis codes.
I like to keep these on show if they are their.
They were also never powder coated when new and when i spoke to nells he wanted the slightly modified look but yet standard also if that makes sense, hence why i kept these looking standard and done all the other parts in Solar Rain.

Looking awesome mate.
But please check the brake parts closely since they have been plated. Parts where fluid goes through is not recommended to plate, I just speak of my own experience. For example, my brake reducer valve was plated and the fluid didn't get through it, that caused a hell of a lot problems.
