how much are the wheels going to cost to get done mate?

i'm looking and the prices are all over the shop

 

They cost Ł30 each to be sand blasted then Ł60 a whle to be prepped and painted they were in a bad way tbh

 

Looking forward to seeing it done. ? How did they manage to fix the bumper..

 

Cut all the foam out of the back of bumper underneath there is a strengthening bar that we bent back then put , Steve made a strenghing piece that sits inside where the foam was then tiger sealed it in to place

 

Had a pic sent of my wheels by Steve today








Really impressed with the results just got to sort tyres and we are on a winner

Thanks people picking them up tomorrow evening , then gotta order my tyres , just waiting for some money I'm owed to clear in my bank then the rubber will be ordered

 

Picked up wheels from Steve @ retromotorsportuk really impressed with them couldn't resist trying them on

 

You need bigger brakes under there now lol

 

I didn't want to go any bigger than 4 pots

 

Tyres delivered so can get them fitted tomorrow

 

I bet them tyres arnt cheap.

 

Worth every penny , would never buy ditch finders after the tyres that I had treats back nearly killed me ,

 

Bit more progress , gave the bumper plenty of polishing whilst was in the house haha





Put new fog light gaskets and refitted fog lights

 

Added an extra section of alloy plate to just strengthen the bumper where it had been repaired






Took headlights out and have everything a clean







Then refitted headlamps and grill which nearly got launched as was starting to test me lol




Spoke to msd today about remap with greys and going to l8 and closed loop , will be booking car in soon for remap , hope I'm doing right thing , hopefully will get bumper on after work in the afternoon tomorrow then tax and out on Sunday

Defo be going ford fair , and yea ive had the bits on stock for ages just never got round to it , money for other things seen to take control , but things seem a lot better ATM

 

Tip top matey. How does your front bumper look now. I need to straighten my rear bumper out cause its sagging.

Engine bay short of strut brace hole car needs a good clean as it's filthy gonna have a couple hours each night on it







And like I said she's sitting arse end up lol

 

Push it back in the garage, you can't fetch it out that high... You'll end up going off roading with your Disco buddies...!
I've got a grinder here, don't mind chopping the springs...
