Looking good Nath, i drove past today (12ish) and saw Mark's FRS outside.
Would have banged on the shutter door if i had time. Had just done wheel cylinders and shoes on mates 106 so was covered in filth - needed to shower etc before heading straight out again so didnt have any time

Cant believe you missed it too!
Well quick update today, the gear box and diff's had to be repainted today as that shiney paint looked good it came off if anything went on it so was not suitable! So here are the new box and diffs...
Engine has now been stripped down bits primed and painted sump etc...
Fuel tank and prop shafts now sitting primer ready for paint, thats it for today

Yeh plenty of room in there but im a bit lazy with it at the mo so could well just sit there for ages while i motivate myself lol.

A quick update, engine has now been stripped and head has been sent off for skimming, new tappets and seals etc getting fitted while its away at engineering place , block cleaned and ready for paint

A little update mark and me got a fair bit done today all painting finished apart from the fuel tank which is in primer
All prop shafts painted black as they should be come up mint
Rocker cover painted coming along well
When we took my tank heat shield off it was smashed so i had to buy a new one got one from rsbreakers for Ł50 so not to bad, got cleaned, primered and straight into paint, has come up like glass thanks to mark he has done an amazing job! cheers mate
Just the fuel tank left to do, marks gonna do it like the shield so its gonna be a good job like glass lots of flating and primer!
Thats it for today more tomorrow

Another little update now all painting nearly done then its time for the fun bit putting it all back together, rear axel started going back together....
Mr crazy (mark) wanted to get the fuel lines back on and out the way so took a couple of pics to show you all how it looks and i think its gonna come out pretty well....?
More updates soon, got my new brakes and coilovers on order so shouldnt be long, got all my other bits ready to go on, head back from skimming this next week flying and i cant wait

The setup is my little setup in my little garage thanks and if mark does a excellent job he can use it to do others but only if he does a top notch job aint it ducky
