Update. Got the engine fired up last weekend, decided to get the timing done by John Muir owner of MV Turbos, cosworth specialist, luckly enough he stays next door so did not have to take the car far. Wanted John to do the full set-up as he was an ex turbo technics dealer and has an excellent reputation, the car to my surprise has a stage 1 chip, i have the car set up to standard spec just now as i want to feel the difference between standard and stage 1. The car is running great now, also managed to get the fans running, had to sort out the melted fuse i had. Have spent a serious amount money trying to turn this engine bay back to 100% standard like it rolled of the production line, it was important to me to get the detail correct and not to settle for " aye, that will do". But in the end i have to say i am over the moon with it. really better than i expected. final touch the other day was a full detail over the bay and the engine decal kit.
heres the pics
heres a pic before i touched the bay
and after
currently painting the front end at my brothers paint shop (TooleDesign) so will get some pictures up of the car finished for this year.

Glad you got the parets for the damper mate.
What have you done to the heatshield ? is it painted or have to replaced the reflective type material ??
cheers
